Pilots go to flight training, doctors to medical schools, and chefs undergo extensive training before they can head up a restaurant. So why don’t professionals in the tech industry go through some standardised training?
The basic premise of TiroTech is a group of passionate tech leaders wanting to empower the emerging talent and enable real innovation within the tech industry. TiroTech will partner with existing training bodies to provide tailored certifications and training programs and they asked me to create a bold and fresh visual identity that represented their passionate vision.
The core brand idea of ‘Driven to excel’ helped me to create a modern, forward-thinking, and exciting visual identity. The colours and applications are focusing on bringing that passion the founders have, as well as inclusivity. And it sends a slight nudge to the tech industry to look at innovation from another perspective. The expressive, confident, and somewhat daring visual identity provides a platform for the brand to come to life through all of the touchpoints consistently.
Tiro is latin for ‘cadet’, learning or training. I wanted to create a symbol for the brand that TiroTech could own – something that represented a progressive path to success, and at the same time could work as an abstract representation of a ‘T’.
