For prospects to make a positive purchasing decision, the reward should exceed the pain. Meeting an unmet customer need, motivation or desire can be one of the most powerful ways for a brand to outweigh whatever cost/pain customers may experience.
I’ve grouped the most prevalent customer motivators and needs into an easy to remember acronym. I’ve called it Studeo Strategy MAGIC. The 30 brand prompt questions are loosely grouped into one of the categories to help stimulate a more customer-centric view of your business.

Random responses
Randomly respond to one card at a time as a group with all participants
Individual Responses
Or, assign 3-5 cards to each participant to generate responses individually, then discuss as a group
Rapid-fire rounds
Or, add a few ‘rapid-fire’ rounds between other workshop exercises
Reflect
Attempt to find a way to apply each prompt to your business or brand, even hypothetically

Prepare
Lay all 30 cards out and discuss which side of each is more relevant to your business and/or customers
Discard
If neither side of a card have relevancy place it in a ‘discard’ pile
Shortlist
Shortlist the remaining down to the top 5-6 key values you could ‘own’
Generate
Selected cards are prompts to help you generate your own unique values
